FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY
“As anyone who has worked with Andrew (Artography) will tell you, he does love good food. And this love shows when photographing cakes, bread, smoked fish, fish, chocolate, pasta, meat, pasties, pies, pastries, sweets, beverages, drinks, fruit and vegetables. We recommend a napkin with this website as the food photography does rather make your mouth water!” That quote from a client sums up our outlook on food photography, probably the most demanding of all commercial commissions. We strive for perfection of the final image but this can take disproportionate amounts of time and effort for one shot. The first decision is whether to use studio flash or, the now very in vogue, natural daylight and reflectors, a choice we make with you our clients full input. With a large array of lighting accessories in our arsenal such as large octagonal soft boxes to duplicate the light of a warm summers day, to fibre optics to put that small highlight in the eye of a wild salmon flown in from Norway for the food shoot. We can reproduce “the look” which your product deserves. This work does not have to be done in the studio, we can accommodate your needs at your hotel, restaurant or food production site so your staff can carry on their daily tasks.
